Leur \u00e9quipe comprenait des experts en recherche et d\u00e9veloppement de Siemens Technology ainsi que des conseils et une assistance en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;application de Yaskawa. La conformit\u00e9 peut \u00eatre passive ou active et permet \u00e0 un robot utilisant un outil de r\u00e9pondre aux changements de la surface de travail en temps r\u00e9el. La conformit\u00e9 passive est simple, comme l&rsquo;incorporation d&rsquo;une pression pneumatique r\u00e9glable dans l&rsquo;outil robotis\u00e9 pour s&rsquo;adapter aux variations de la pi\u00e8ce. Les syst\u00e8mes de conformit\u00e9 active sont plus complexes et permettent un contr\u00f4le sp\u00e9cifique de la force dans les situations o\u00f9 les exigences de traitement doivent \u00eatre exactes.<br><br><br>Dirig\u00e9e par Changliu Liu, professeur adjoint au Robotics Institute, une \u00e9quipe de recherche compos\u00e9e d&rsquo;\u00e9tudiants et de professionnels de l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie a mis au point un syst\u00e8me robotis\u00e9 efficace d&rsquo;enl\u00e8vement des cordons de soudure. Leur objectif \u00e9tait de produire un syst\u00e8me qui soit non seulement s\u00fbr et efficace, mais aussi rentable. Le syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;enl\u00e8vement automatique des cordons de soudure qu&rsquo;ils ont mis au point fonctionne de mani\u00e8re autonome et peut enlever rapidement et efficacement le mat\u00e9riau des pi\u00e8ces soud\u00e9es en forme de tube.<br><br><br>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a con\u00e7u un syst\u00e8me de conformit\u00e9 active enti\u00e8rement automatis\u00e9, capable de localiser, de mesurer et de retirer le cordon de soudure de l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur du tube et de v\u00e9rifier l&rsquo;ach\u00e8vement du processus. Le syst\u00e8me comprenait une technologie de vision externe permettant d&rsquo;identifier le cordon de soudure en premier lieu. Une fois localis\u00e9, le retour d&rsquo;information multi-axe d&rsquo;un capteur de force\/couple (F\/T) ATI permet au bras Yaskawa de mesurer et de r\u00e9agir au cordon de soudure, de d\u00e9terminer la quantit\u00e9 correcte de pression \u00e0 appliquer et d&rsquo;enlever le cordon avec l&rsquo;outil de coupe. Gr\u00e2ce au capteur de force, ce syst\u00e8me robotique devient dynamique car il utilise le retour de force pour d\u00e9tecter, \u00e9valuer et meuler le cordon de soudure, tout en contr\u00f4lant et en ajustant la force de coupe en temps r\u00e9el. La conformit\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, qu&rsquo;elle soit active ou passive, facilite la programmation des applications robotiques et permet d&rsquo;obtenir une finition coh\u00e9rente malgr\u00e9 les variations de la pi\u00e8ce ou de la trajectoire.<br><br><br>Pour les fabricants industriels qui doivent rester flexibles face aux demandes de leurs clients, une cellule robotique adaptable et abordable est id\u00e9ale. Ensemble, le robot Yaskawa, le capteur de force\/couple d&rsquo;ATI et le logiciel de mod\u00e9lisation peuvent rapidement et facilement mesurer et retirer un cordon de soudure d&rsquo;une courbe int\u00e9rieure.
